A Guide to get tier 1 visa

Days back it was very tough to get a tier 1 visa in United Kingdom as there were very strict norms. But these days getting a tier 1 visa can be real ease.  The basic requirement for being eligible for tier1 visa is to be a citizen of common wealth countries. Check out Wikipedia for the list of common wealth countries. It is also very important to be fluently English spoken. You should have a bank account and 2800$ for yourself and 1,600 $ for each one dependent travelling.  You will have to fill up a form. After which you will be gone through a biometric scan.
A person who gets a tier 1 visa is free to work throughout United Kingdom. The duration for tier 1 visa is 2 years, which can be extended for up to 3 year depending on certain norms. For people who don’t meet above stated requirements of getting tier 1 visa, can apply through British high commission.
Most of the people who apply for tier 1 visa, arrive United Kingdom to work in different fields and parts of the country. It is not required that a person applying for tier 1 visa should be appointed to job before arrival. It is also seen that people having those visas in which job/work is not allowed, work for very low salary. Also it is not legal to work if you are not permitted to do so. A tier 1 visa allows you to work in legitimate way resulting in better salary according to norms and other employee benefits too.
